PROPERTY
For almost a decade, my articles appeared on the MailOnline’s homepage and property section.
During this period, I covered a range of topics, from technical finance issues such as how to recoup your losses if you incorporate your buy-to-let, to more lighter reads such as the Shed of the Year competition.
I covered extensively issues related to the cladding scandal, and the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act. This included writing from a personal perspective about how lenders changed their stance on leaseholds after finding it virtually impossible to sell my London flat due to a toxic Ground Rent clause.
I have worked closely with estate agents, lenders, and mortgage brokers to highlight their research into the housing market, and how consumers can benefit from the changes taking place.
I regularly wrote front page news stories about property when I worked at The Daily Telegraph during the height of the credit crisis.
I also wrote a weekly column about my adventures of being a landlord.
